In demand as soloist and chamber musician,
Filip Cwizewicz is a leading young violinist.
Prizes to-date include 10th National Competition
of Caprices, Poland 2022 (1st Prize and Grand Prix),
Kraków Academy Concerto Prize 2022 (1st Prize),
5th Agustin Aponte International Music
competition, Tenerife 2020 (3rd Prize),
34th International Violin Competition 2015
(Alberto Quali Prize).
Filip Cwizewicz has performed at Wigmore Hall,
Milton Court, Barbican, live on BBC Radio 3's
‘In Tune’ programme, across the UK, Europe
and South Korea. He studied at London's
Purcell School and Royal College of Music with
Itzhak Rashkovsky. He is now continuing his
studies in the class of renowned Polish
soloist Kaja Danczowska in Kraków.
He is principal violin in the Górecki Chamber
Orchestra, leads the Tempest Symphony
Orchestra, and performs regularly as part of the
Cwizewicz Brothers violin duo and
the Ognisko Chamber Ensemble.
