The Ionian Singers will present an extraordinarily rich and varied programme, spanning English music from the late Romantic age to choral songs by Elgar and contemporary British works. A highlight will be the Ave Maria by Norwegian composer Knut Nystedt, a concerto-like work for violin and chorus.
